Next Thursday, March 14th is Pi Day. The students in Room 4 will be participating in several activities in the days to come to further strengthen their understanding of the concept. Today we watched a video on what Pi is and how to calculate Pi of various circular objects. Students then had to come up with a creative way to remember the the first 10 digits of Pi (3.141592653). Just a reminder that tomorrow is MAD Scientist and Thursday is the visit with the CPS and our canine friend. 

Tuesday is Lumio Day! Students learned more about Simple Machines through Lumio this afternoon. Ask your child about the 6 simple machines and the importance of simple machines in our daily lives.
