On April 8th a total solar eclipse will pass through North America’s point for the first time in 7 years. This means that in certain parts of North America the sky will darken and the air will get colder for several minutes. The students took on a building challenge: build a solar shelter to protect from UV (ultraviolet) rays AND allow them to observe the eclipse in a safe way.
Take a look at a few of our safe shelters.
