Welcome Back! I hope you had a wonderful fall break. It won't be long until it is Winter Break. However there is a great deal to accomplish in the last month of the school year.

Today we read more in our novel study The Wild Robot. The students are completing a graphic organizer on the next chapters, 11-20. Their focus will then be on taking there notes and creating a triorama. The triorama will include the characters, setting, and problem of one part or chapter of the book. We hope to have these completing by next week for you all to look at. 

In Math we continue to work on estimation skills through Esti-Mystery and patterning. We are currently exploring Fibonacci sequence. Ask your child what this patterning is all about and how it relates to Science and nature.

Social is focused on the 6 Natural Regions of Alberta. Please ask your child what are Alberta's 6 Natural Regions.
