 Santa Needs a NEW Sleigh

How can you improve upon the standard sleigh design? Please consider the weaknesses of the traditional sleigh design and try to create designs that would address those problems.

Criteria:

• Santa must not fall out

• Sleigh must have a power source (may be a prototype and actually working)

• Sleigh must have room for presents

• Sleigh must be able to withstand various degrees of wind and snow

• Sleigh must be able to slide (not roll)

Can you also make your sleigh eco-friendly?

Tinkercad/Yarn Hats

 

This week we worked with our Grade 1 buddies on exploring Tinkercad and creating yarn winter hats. The Grade students took on a leadership roll as they helped their buddy create a winter scene with the many shapes and features of Tinkercad. Students also worked with basic supplies (yarn, paper towel roll) to create a small winter hat. Take a look at our students in action.
