Room 4 students were learning about Class 1 Levers while creating a Ghost Launcher. We learned 3 new vocabulary words along the way - fulcrum, load, and effort. Ask your child where the fulcrum is located in a Class 1 lever.  Students also experimenting with small density loads and heavy density loads.

 Happy Halloween!!!!

Today and tomorrow we will be connecting our learning to Halloween. This morning for literacy we completed 'Boo To You' Boggle. Once students created their word lists, they were asked to write sentences or a story with these words. 

We will be having a Halloween Parade tomorrow at 2:30pm. Please make sure your child's costume is school appropriate and there is no complete face masks and weapons. If students have questions about their costumes, please have them bring the accessory and I will help them. 

Please check your child's backpack for the Fort Calgary Field Study form. The Grade 4 classes will be heading to Fort Calgary on Tuesday, November 8th for a FULL day of learning.
